This kit will fit any 1300-1600cc VW Type 1 engine and the 87mm cylinders do not require any special machining - they will slide right in your engine case bores.
We recommend inspecting the bottom end while the pistons and cylinders are removed for any excess bearing play. This kit rebuilds the top end of your engine with all new pistons & cylinders, wrist pins, rings, cylinder heads, gaskets, and pushrod tubes.
